No wind again what a shame! back to Nant yr Arian to meet up with the other
members of the mountain bike club.
We decided todo the two shorter routes rather than going out into the wilds
of wales on longest route.
Having already done the trail a couple days previous I really gave it some
on the down hills I think I surprised a few people as I left everyone in my
dust, just a shame I can't do it on the up hills!
Had a really funny thing happen on the top secton of trail. If a flat tyre
can be funny! Easter sunday last year I rode the same trail and got a
puncture in exacty the same down hill section. Although last time it was a
pinch flat this time I managed to rip the valve out of the inner tube.
We continued round the rest of the trail back to the visitor centre for
some lunch and to watch the red kites being fed.
After lunch we done the shorter of the trails a new one for me as Ive never
done it before although it shares some of the sections of the summit
trail.
On the last section of the trail coming back to the centre we just really
went for it going as fast as possible. I can honestly say its the most on
the edge that ive been on a trail (almost over) I was going that fast even
the photo of me came out blured! When I reached the bottom I was puffing
and panting as though I'd just ridden up hill
